Alumni News from...

Susan Surman reminisces over the summers of 1951 and 1952 as they were magical summers she has never forgotten. She was a bit of a rebel who square danced with Howie Rosenfeld on Saturday nights as if they were born to do so. Moving from Boston to London, Sydney, and now NC, she has been an actress and "young" playwright.

Eddie Merc just wanted to greet all his good friends at CWW! He still lives in Honolulu, HI, where he works for Hawaii Pacific University-HPU, and doing his best to pursue his Ph.D. at the University of Hawaii at Manoa in International Business Management. He still teaches tennis and often visits with Dave Porter. He is happily married to Kristine Merc, who worked at CWW in 2004!

Rich "Snipper" Stempinski has been working in education for the last 15 years as an administrator and is currently seeking a new career path. Looking to hear from some great counselors that were at CWW in 90 and 91!!

Donat O'Brien successfully passed his love of camp on to his two sons as they both worked at camp. Rory was a boating specialist and Conor was a campcraft specialist this past summer.

Matthew Young, his wife and two boys reside in Briarcliff, NY. He teaches fourth grade in the Ossining School District, and plays African drums in his spare time.

Randall Zuckerman is a general surgeon in New Haven CT and spent a week as the Camp Doctor after 30 years away from Piermont, NH. It was great to be back!

Joe Dorison is a money manager whose true loves include family and charity work.

Mark Pagano, the funny bearded guitar player with a cousin named Scotty, now lives back in his home town of St. Louis, MO, where he plays music, rides his bike, teaches kids, and travels frequently. His band FIRE DOG just put out a second album.

Ken Zuckerman is still hiking, camping, playing tennis, and fishing. Due to CWW, he ran the Outing Club at Colgate. Working in development & marketing for public broadcasting, he is also interested in getting back in touch with campers and staff alike.

Mike & Anna O'Brien welcomed the third addition to the family. Morgan Nicole O'Brien was born on February 23rd, joining brother Sean (3 1/2) and sister Kaitlin (2) who both love being big helpers to their Mom and Dad.

Jan Zeiger (Kelley) recently returned to teaching after five years of being a stay-at-home mom. She is happy to see that CWW is still going strong more than 10 years later and is looking forward to sending her kids some day.

Jocelyn Bell McTaggart gave birth to Jasper Irving McTaggart on September 25th. Jocelyn, husband David, and Japser are doing great.

Scott Brofman and wife Kristi had a baby boy, Connor Jacob Brofman, on September 15th.

Whitmanites Stan and Rachel Horowitz welcomed Sarah Thevenet Levin Horowitz to the world on September 5th. Junior Camp is filling up for Summer 2016!
